PRIVATE LESSONS IN NYC
Mauricio teaches individual lessons regularly in the New York City area.
Lessons are typically 1 hour long - depending on each case the length of the lesson can change to accommodate the student.
Mauricio uses his 20+ plus years of professional experience performing and teaching to create a personalized lesson plan to meet each student's expectations and goals.
Students of all levels are welcome. Some of the topics normally will include: groove, sound, technique, improvisation/soloing, reading, chart interpretation, styles (Brazilian music, Latin music, Jazz and beyond), ensemble playing and musicality.
